As Upagraha

Formula: Vyatipata = 360° - Dhuma

Alternate Formula: Vyatipata = 12 signs (360°) - (Sun + 133°20')

1 Calculate Dhuma first (Sun + 133°20')
2 Subtract Dhuma from 360°
3 The result is Vyatipata's position

As Panchang Yoga

Description: Different calculation as 17th Nitya Yoga

Method: Sun longitude + Moon longitude = Yoga number
