For the most accurate results, knowing your exact birth time is important as it determines your Ascendant (Lagna) and house placements. If you don't know the exact time, you can use an approximate time, but the Lagna-dependent features (house lords, Dasha periods, divisional charts) may be less precise. Moon sign, Nakshatra, and planetary positions remain accurate regardless.

Our interpretations are based on classical texts like Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra (BPHS) and Phaladeepika. AI predictions combine these classical rules with modern analysis. However, astrology is an interpretive art, and predictions should be viewed as guidance rather than certainty.

Vimshottari Dasha is the most widely used planetary period system in Vedic astrology. It divides your life into major periods (Mahadasha) ruled by different planets, each lasting years. These are further divided into sub-periods (Antardasha), sub-sub-periods (Pratyantardasha), and so on down to Prana level. ShreeKundli calculates all levels and our AI interprets what each period means for you.

Yogas are specific planetary combinations that indicate special strengths, talents, or life patterns in your chart. ShreeKundli automatically detects 100+ classical yogas from texts like BPHS, including Raj Yogas (power and authority), Dhana Yogas (wealth), Pancha Mahapurusha Yogas, Gajakesari Yoga, and many more. Each detected yoga comes with its description, effects, and strength assessment.

Ashtakvarga is a unique Vedic evaluation system where each planet's strength is assessed across all 12 signs by contribution from 8 sources (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, and Lagna). ShreeKundli calculates individual planet Ashtakvarga and Sarvashtakvarga (combined strength) tables, useful for transit predictions and identifying strong/weak houses in your chart.

Our Kundli matching uses the traditional Ashtakoot (8-factor) system comparing Moon Nakshatras of both partners. It evaluates Varna (1 point), Vashya (2), Tara (3), Yoni (4), Graha Maitri (5), Gana (3), Bhakoot (7), and Nadi (8) — totaling 36 points. We also check for Manglik Dosha and other compatibility factors. A score above 18 is generally considered favorable.

Manglik Dosha (Kuja Dosha) occurs when Mars is placed in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, or 12th house from Lagna, Moon, or Venus. It's believed to affect marital harmony. ShreeKundli checks Manglik status for both partners and identifies cancellation conditions (such as both being Manglik, or specific planetary combinations that neutralize the dosha).

Yes! The basic 36-point Ashtakoot Guna Milan is free and available without an account. Simply visit the Matchmaking page and enter birth details for both partners. For AI-enhanced detailed compatibility analysis with relationship insights, you'll need an account and credits.
