Career + Timing

Career advice without timing is guesswork.

Your Vimshottari Dasha sets the calendar — which years favour ambition, which ones demand consolidation, which ones reward a bold move. See yours.

Mahadasha + Antardasha + Pratyantar

Three levels of Dasha drill-down. Broad decade-long trends, focused year-on-year colour, and the fortnight-level triggers for job shifts and interviews.

Career houses, career lords

Mapped to the 10th (profession), 2nd (income), 6th (service), 11th (gains) — and their lords. Generic predictions get replaced with chart-specific logic.

Job change windows

The system flags Dasha transitions where career change is statistically most active — sign changes of Dasha lords, aspected planets, and classical yogas activating.

Rough periods, called out

Sade Sati, Ashtama Shani, Kantaka Shani — career stress windows are explicitly named with dates. No false comfort, no hidden warnings.

What to do with it

Each sensitive period comes with a practical read: consolidate, pivot, or push. Not generic 'be careful' filler.

Questions, asked plainly.

Which Dasha system do you use?
Vimshottari Dasha (120-year cycle) — the most widely used and tested system in classical Vedic astrology. Kalachakra and Yogini Dashas are available for cross-checking on the full-chart pages.
How accurate are the dates?
Dates are computed from your exact birth Moon nakshatra and ayanamsa-corrected to the day. If your birth time is accurate to the minute, Dasha transitions are accurate to the day.
Can a 'bad' Dasha actually be good for career?
Yes, often. A Saturn Mahadasha is hard-working, slow, and disciplined — terrible for a frivolous pivot, excellent for building a durable career. The report flags each Dasha's real character, not its popular reputation.
What if my current Dasha looks tough?
Know the window, respect the window, and use the sub-periods. A 19-year Saturn Mahadasha still has a Venus sub-period where opportunities open. The system surfaces those openings explicitly.
How does this compare to a yearly horoscope?
Yearly horoscopes are Sun-sign based — same reading for 1/12th of the planet. This is your chart, your nakshatra, your Dasha. The difference in specificity is enormous.
Can I see Dasha for a decision next month?
Yes — use Prashna (horary) astrology for a specific decision. Dasha gives the backdrop; Prashna gives the foreground. Both are available.
