Credit refunds for failed feature executions

Overview

ShreeKundli operates on a credit-based system. You purchase credit packs (recharges) and spend credits to use AI-powered premium features such as predictions, remedies, forecasts, and AI astrologer chat.

This Refund Policy explains when credits are refunded, when they are not, and how to request a refund if you believe you are entitled to one.

Non-Refundable Items

Credit pack purchases (recharges) are non-refundable. Once you purchase a credit pack, the payment amount cannot be refunded to your original payment method under any circumstances.

The following are not eligible for refund:

  • Credit pack purchases: All recharge payments made via Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets) are final and non-refundable
  • Successfully executed features: If an AI feature ran to completion and produced output, the credits spent are non-refundable — regardless of whether you are satisfied with the content
  • Expired promotional or bonus credits: Free or promotional credits that have been used or expired cannot be refunded or restored
  • Credits on deleted accounts: If you delete your account, any remaining credits are forfeited and cannot be recovered

Eligible Refund Scenarios

Credits are refunded only when a premium feature fails to execute properly due to a system-side error. Specifically:

3.1 Automatic Credit Refund

Credits are refunded to your account automatically in these cases:

  • AI processing failure: The AI service encounters an internal error and cannot generate a response
  • Server timeout: The request times out before the AI can complete processing
  • System error: An unexpected technical error occurs during feature execution
  • Double deduction: Credits are accidentally deducted more than once for the same request (the duplicate is automatically reversed)

In these cases, the deducted credits are restored to your account balance immediately — no action is required on your part.

3.2 Manual Credit Refund Request

You may request a manual credit refund if:

  • A feature deducted credits but produced no output (blank or empty result) and no automatic refund was issued
  • A feature produced a completely garbled, truncated, or unintelligible response that is entirely unusable (not merely a prediction you disagree with)
  • Credits were deducted but the feature page showed an error message instead of the expected result

Not Eligible for Refund

The following situations do not qualify for a credit refund:

  • Dissatisfaction with predictions: If the AI generated a complete response but you disagree with or are unhappy about the prediction content — astrology is interpretive and subjective
  • Duplicate requests: If you use a feature multiple times for the same chart or question intentionally, each use is a separate charge
  • Incorrect birth details: If predictions are inaccurate because you entered wrong birth date, time, or place — this is user-side input error
  • Feature misunderstanding: If you used a feature expecting a different type of output (e.g., used "Daily Forecast" expecting a yearly analysis)
  • Language issues: If the response was generated in the correct language but you expected a different one, or if minor translation imperfections exist
  • Network interruption on your end: If your internet connection dropped after the feature had already completed server-side

How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are eligible for a credit refund that was not automatically processed:

Email us at support@shreekundli.com with the subject line "Credit Refund Request"

Include the following details:
  • Your registered email address
  • The feature name and approximate date/time of use
  • A description of what went wrong
  • Screenshot of the error or blank output (if available)

We will investigate by reviewing server logs and AI execution records for your request. We will respond within 48 hours with our determination.

If approved, credits will be restored to your account balance within 24 hours of approval. You will receive an email confirmation.

Refund Timeframe

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the failed feature execution
  • Requests submitted after 7 days may be reviewed at our discretion but are not guaranteed
  • Refunds are issued as credits to your ShreeKundli account, not as monetary refunds to your payment method

Abuse Prevention

We monitor refund requests to prevent abuse. If we detect a pattern of excessive, fraudulent, or bad-faith refund requests, we reserve the right to:

  • Deny future refund requests from the account
  • Restrict access to premium features
  • Suspend or terminate the account

Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

If you have a payment processing issue (e.g., you were charged but credits were not added, or a payment was duplicated), please contact us at support@shreekundli.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider.

We will investigate and resolve legitimate payment processing issues within 48 hours. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in account suspension.

Free Features

Free features (birth chart generation, Kundli matching, Panchang, Hora, Choghadiya, etc.) do not consume credits and therefore are not subject to this refund policy. If you experience issues with free features, please report them via our Contact page so we can fix them.
