Matchmaking

Know the 36 gunas. Know the marriage ahead.

Traditional Ashtakoot Guna Milan with Manglik dosha check and Dasha-timing compatibility — in under a minute, without surrendering accuracy.

All 8 kootas, classical weights

Varna, Vashya, Tara, Yoni, Graha Maitri, Gana, Bhakoot, Nadi — scored the way Parashara laid them out. No shortcuts.

Manglik dosha, both charts

Mangal is checked in every relevant house — 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 12 — with classical cancellations applied, not just a yes/no flag.

Dasha timing, not just scores

Guna count tells you fit. Dasha overlap tells you when the relationship actually unfolds — and whether rough periods align.

Human-readable, not robotic

The report speaks in full sentences. You will understand why a score is high or low, not just see a number.

Works across timezones

Indian or diaspora — the calculator handles any longitude, any timezone, and the correct ayanamsa by default.

Questions, asked plainly.

Is 18/36 really the minimum for marriage?
That's a rule of thumb, not scripture. Guna count is one input. A 28/36 with severe Nadi dosha or unaligned Dashas can still struggle; a 16/36 with clean doshas and strong 7th-house lords can thrive. Read the full report, not just the number.
What if one of us is Manglik?
Manglik in one chart alone creates friction. If both are Manglik, it often cancels. If only one is, classical cancellations — Mars in own sign, debilitated, or with benefic aspect — can reduce severity. The report walks through each cancellation rule.
Do I need exact birth time?
For Ashtakoot, only the birth nakshatra and rasi matter — these are stable within a 2-3 hour birth window. For Manglik and Dasha timing you want a clean birth time (within ~15 minutes). If time is unknown, ascendant-based rules are skipped and clearly marked.
Is this Ashtakoot or Dashakoot?
Ashtakoot (8 kootas, 36 points) — the North Indian standard. South Indian families often use 10-koota variants — we surface any South-Indian-specific warnings alongside the primary Ashtakoot output so nothing is missed.
How accurate is it?
Calculations use Swiss Ephemeris with Lahiri ayanamsa — the same engine professional astrologers use. Rule interpretations follow Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra and classical commentaries. The arithmetic is exact; the interpretation follows classical authority.
Can I download or share the report?
