ॐ गणानां त्वा गणपतिं हवामहे कविं कवीनामुपमश्रवस्तमम् । ज्येष्ठराजं ब्रह्मणां ब्रह्मणस्पत आ नः शृण्वन्नूतिभिः सीद सादनम् ॥
Om gaṇānāṃ tvā gaṇapatiṃ havāmahe kaviṃ kavīnāmupamāśravastamam | Jyeṣṭharājaṃ brahmaṇāṃ brahmaṇaspata ā naḥ śṛṇvannūtibhiḥ sīda sādanam ||
We invoke you, Lord of Ganas, Ganapati, sage among sages, supreme in glory, king of sacred texts. O Lord of sacred speech, hearing us, come with your blessings and sit in this place.
ॐ भूः । ॐ भुवः । ॐ स्वः । ॐ महः । ॐ जनः । ॐ तपः । ॐ सत्यम् ॥
Om bhūḥ | Om bhuvaḥ | Om svaḥ | Om mahaḥ | Om janaḥ | Om tapaḥ | Om satyam ||
Om, the earth. Om, the atmosphere. Om, the heavens. Om, the great. Om, the creation. Om, the austerity. Om, the truth.
ॐ सरस्वत्यै नमो नित्यं भद्रकाल्यै नमो नमः । वेदवेदान्तवेद्यायै वेदशास्त्राय ते नमः ॥
Om sarasvatyai namo nityaṃ bhadrakālyai namo namaḥ | Vedavedāntavedyāyai vedaśāstrāya te namaḥ ||
Eternal salutations to Saraswati, salutations to the auspicious one. Salutations to you who are known through Veda and Vedanta, salutations to the science of Vedas.
ॐ ऋग्वेदं भगवो अध्येमि यजुर्वेदं सामवेदमथर्ववेदम् । वाकोवाक्यमितिहासपुराणम् ॥
Om ṛgvedaṃ bhagavo adhyemi yajurvedaṃ sāmavedamatharvavedam | Vākovākyamitihāsapurāṇam ||
O Lord, I study the Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda, and Atharvaveda, along with dialogues, histories, and Puranas.
