ॐ पुमांसौ पुत्रौ जायेतां पुमान् अस्तु प्रजापतिः । पुमांसो अन्ये जायन्तां पुमान् एषोऽभिवर्धताम् ॥

Om pumāṃsau putrau jāyetāṃ pumān astu prajāpatiḥ | Pumāṃso anye jāyantāṃ pumān eṣo'bhivardhatām ||

May two male sons be born, may Prajapati make it male, may others born be male, may this one grow as male

Garbha Raksha Mantra

ॐ अग्निः प्राणान्त्समाधत्तां वातः प्राणान्त्समाधत्ताम् । सूर्यो गर्भं ददातु ते चन्द्रमा गर्भं ददातु ते ॥

Om agniḥ prāṇāntsamādhattāṃ vātaḥ prāṇāntsamādhattām | Sūryo garbhaṃ dadātu te candramā garbhaṃ dadātu te ||

May Agni establish life forces, may Vayu establish life forces, may Surya grant you pregnancy, may Chandra grant you pregnancy

ॐ सुपर्णोऽसि गरुत्मान् त्रिवृत्ते शिरो गायत्रं चक्षुः ।

Om suparṇo'si garutmān trivṛtte śiro gāyatraṃ cakṣuḥ |
