Karnavedha Mantra

ॐ भद्रं कर्णेभिः शृणुयाम देवाः भद्रं पश्येमाक्षभिर्यजत्राः । स्थिरैरङ्गैस्तुष्टुवांसस्तनूभिर्व्यशेम देवहितं यदायुः ॥

Om bhadraṃ karṇebhiḥ śṛṇuyāma devāḥ bhadraṃ paśyemākṣabhiryajatrāḥ | Sthirairaṅgaistuṣṭuvāṃsastanūbhirvyaśema devahitaṃ yadāyuḥ ||

O Gods, may we hear with our ears what is auspicious, may we see with our eyes what is auspicious. With steady limbs and bodies praising you, may we attain the life allotted by the gods.

Ashwini Mantra

ॐ अश्विनावेह गच्छतं जुषेथां यज्ञं नो अद्य वीतये । मा नो मर्त्यस्य दुर्मतिः परि ष्ठाद्देवयोः ॥

Om aśvināveha gacchataṃ juṣethāṃ yajñaṃ no adya vītaye | Mā no martyasya durmatiḥ pari ṣṭhāddevayoḥ ||

O Ashvins, come here, enjoy our sacrifice today for our benefit. Let not the ill-will of mortals surround us (who are) devoted to the gods.

ॐ विद्मा शरस्य पितरं पर्जन्यं भूर्यधारम् । विद्मो त आसां मातरं पृथिवीं भूर्याचरत् ॥

Om vidmā śarasya pitaraṃ parjanyaṃ bhūryadhāram | Vidmo ta āsāṃ mātaraṃ pṛthivīṃ bhūryācarat ||

We know the father of the arrow, Parjanya of abundant streams. We know the mother of these, the Earth of abundant movement.
