First Sight Mantra

ॐ अङ्गादङ्गात्सम्भवसि हृदयादधिजायसे । आत्मा वै पुत्रनामासि स जीव शरदः शतम् ॥

Om aṅgādaṅgātsambhavasi hṛdayādadhijāyase | Ātmā vai putranāmāsi sa jīva śaradaḥ śatam ||

You are born from limb to limb, generated from the heart. Indeed you are the self named 'son'. Live a hundred autumns.

Medhajana Mantra

ॐ मेधां ते देवः सविता मेधामग्निः प्रयच्छतु । मेधां ते देवो धाता मेधां बृहस्पतिर्दधातु ॥

Om medhāṃ te devaḥ savitā medhāmagniḥ prayacchatu | Medhāṃ te devo dhātā medhāṃ bṛhaspatirdadhātu ||

May god Savita grant you intelligence, may Agni give you intelligence. May god Dhata grant you intelligence, may Brihaspati bestow intelligence.

Ayushya Mantra

ॐ आयुष्ट्ते विश्वतो दधदायुष्ट्ते पर्वतो दधत् । आयुष्ट्ते आपो दधत्वायुष्ट्ते सविता दधत् ॥

Om āyuṣṭe viśvato dadhad āyuṣṭe parvato dadhat | Āyuṣṭe āpo dadhatvāyuṣṭe savitā dadhat ||

May the universe give you long life, may the mountains give you long life. May the waters give you long life, may Savita give you long life.

Ear Whisper Mantra (Vak)

ॐ वाक् ते अस्तु द्यौः पिता पृथिवी माता । प्रत्यायुषं वर्धस्व मात्रा सह ॥

Om vāk te astu dyauḥ pitā pṛthivī mātā | Pratyāyuṣaṃ vardhasva mātrā saha ||

May speech be yours, Heaven is your father, Earth your mother. Grow with long life together with your mother.
