Mythology & Legends
Commemorates the day when Lord Krishna delivered the divine wisdom of Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra.
The Divine Discourse
On the battlefield of Kurukshetra, warrior Arjuna was overcome with despair at having to fight his own kinsmen. Lord Krishna, his charioteer, delivered the 700 verses of the Bhagavad Gita, explaining duty (dharma), action (karma), knowledge (jnana), and devotion (bhakti). This discourse transformed Arjuna and has guided humanity ever since.
