Garuda Purana Saar presents the essential teachings of the Garuda Purana, one of the eighteen Mahapuranas. This text contains Vishnu's discourse to Garuda about life after death, the journey of the soul, funeral rites (Antyeshti), Shraddha ceremonies, and the paths of dharma that lead to liberation. It is traditionally recited during the thirteen-day mourning period (Trayodashi) after death.
