Calculation Method
Based on Moon's nakshatra and degree at birth
- 1 Identify Moon's nakshatra at birth
- 2 Find the ruling planet of that nakshatra
- 3 Calculate balance of first dasha based on Moon's position in nakshatra
- 4 Sequence continues in fixed order after first dasha
Balance = (Remaining nakshatra portion / 13°20') × Dasha years
If Moon is at 5° in Rohini (Moon's nakshatra, 10 years), Balance = ((13°20' - 5°) / 13°20') × 10 = 6.25 years of Moon dasha remaining
Nakshatra Span: 13°20' (800 minutes of arc)
